There is suppose to be something magical about the sun, sand, and the water. But when we arrived at Miami it was extremely cold according to the Floridans. In comparison to what the Iowans had left behind at home, a minus 10 degrees - 48 degrees was warm to say the least- just not quite magical.
We wanted to stroll the beach regardless, however I must say that the Miami Blues helped replace what the weather was lacking. The beach was pretty much empty, only a handful of people. I guess the good thing about that was it was like our very own private beach.
Seagulls were looking for the food that the humans drop and leave behind - only this day there was not much to be found.
My first time to Florida - it would have been nice to experience a little warmer temperatures - it was remarkable how warm the water was - the sand was very cold as if there had never been any sun to warm it up- even in the days preceding.
What a beautiful sight to behold
The beach blending into the high rises
The waves were a perfect harmony of motion.
The sun was beginning to quickly set as the day was coming to an end. . . time to head to the stadium.
