WHO CALLED

I have been receiving calls this week, they finally made it on my pissed off list today.   My only day to sleep in and I am awaken at 8:00 am looking for someone named Sonasha.  Sonasha??? What kind of name is that?   Sonasha certainly does not equate to S.B., which is how my phone number is listed. Needless to say I was not pleasant to the man on the other end of the phone.  How dare these companies think that they can skip trace and bother folks over bills that don't even belong to them.  I don't know Sonasha, Sonasha does not live here but more importantly I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTERY.  Which means if I have not done business with you DO NOT CALL ME !!! 

I did a google search on the number 866-426-4288 which appears to belong to NCL Financial.  The comments that were posted lead me to believe that NCL Financial may not be a real company but perhaps a scam company.  Here is the URL to report those who are in violation of the DO  NOT CALL REGISTRY.

Two hours later I got a call from 626-207-9193 and my caller id printed Costa Rico Call. The recorded message states my vehicle warranty is about to expire.  I did not know that Chevorlet has an unlimited warranty on their vehicles.  My Chevy is a 96 - ah that makes my car 12 years old.  

 Now I do not know anyone who lives in Costa Rico.  I have never been to Costa Rico.  I did a google search on this number as well.  The comments indicated that if you stay on the line the people are rude, hang up on you and won't identify the company they are working for.   Again I went to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and filed a complaint. 

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! 

Cell Phone Companies

Cell Phone Companies - going wireless is the phone service of the century.  Lets talk about purchasing the equipment to use this service.  So they trick us into believing that we get a "free phone" when we enter into a contract with them. But we are wise consumers and know that "nothing is really free", that everything has a price tag.   So what we get in exchange for a commitment to stay with the company is a free phone. We all know that most phones don't last two years and we find ourselves in the market for a new phone long before we want to.

It appears that there are only several legitimate ways to purchase a new phone.

• We can reactivate a new service contract and get another "free phone" with a warranty.
• We can purchase a new phone with a warranty from an outlet and get a discounted price with a new service contract.
• We can purchase a new phone with a warranty from an outlet without a new service contract and pay double the amount for the phone.
• We can purchase an unlocked phone without a warranty from an on-line outlet  for about half the price of a new phone without a new service contract

But what about those customers who have been with a particular cell phone company for lets say four years.  They have paid on time every month and seem content with their service.  I might add this is the type of cell phone customer that I am.  I like to be a "free agent", I like that I own my service contract and can leave the company at anytime without any unnecessary costs to me.

What we need from these companies is a "Reward System".  My history shows that I abide by my contract. I pay for my services in a timely manner.  I am content to stay for now.  So why make me go to an outlet to purchase a new phone that does not have a warranty in order to get this phone for a reasonable price?  Aren't you feeding the "black market" of cell phones?  Reward me the "free agent"  and sell me the phone at a discounted price.   You will retain the good customers and motivate the not so good to improve their performance
