We found a few more of those phases that have been around for awhile. 

 

• A nightmare is coming to work and thinking everyday is Monday.
• Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
• Are you for real?
• Gag me with a spoon.
• Are you a pain freak?
• The true gentleman does not preach his beliefs until he does so by his actions.
• Progress has little to do with speed, but much to do with direction.

Words of wisdom are passed down from one generation to the next.  It is unclear who the authors are.  If you have one that should be on this list and it is not please let us know.

• Common Sense is NOT common.
• Can’t get blood out of a turnip.
• They are going to cut your hair so short.
• If any bump appears in the road try and make it go away.
• Can’t get water out of a rock.
• Dig a hole and pull the earth over you.
• When they try to hang onto them, they are like a whisp of smoke.
• Not yet time to put on your good coat, but you better remember what closet you put it in.
