HATERS ~ Are they for real?

You know the haters ~ they are the school yards bullies all grown up with no where to go.  They talk out of both sides of their mouths with their heads buried in the sand.  Really are these folks for real? 

These so called grass roots up-rising against A National Health Care Plan. 

I have watched these folks on the news - are they real?  They don't seem very intelligent - and the script that they are playing doesn't seem that it would have a chance of being a box office hit.  They certainly don't represent me nor the millions of blue collar workers - nor those below the poverty  level.  Just in case they didn't realize that we do have a poverty level in the good ole USA.  I have asked myself again and again - what the hell is wrong with these Rush Limbaugh followers?  They think Rush is talking for them?  I don't think so - if they believe so then I have some land in Alaska I can sell them.

Here's a perfect example of biting off your nose to spite your face ~  

Some one sent me this email :

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will  have to lay off sixty of our employees instead.

This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.  So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't Think of a fairer way to approach this problem. They voted for change, so I gave it to them.   I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

Here was my response:

Wait till your boss walks thru the plant and lets all the balding men go cause your health insurance is costing him too much money - whoops not only did you lose your paycheck but you lost your medicines to help keep you alive.

Seems to be alot of chatter about President Obama ~ Produce your papers the haters state!

Is he a Muslim?
Is he a U S CItizen?

Someone sent me the following questions that one might consider as they are going to the voting polls.

 

 

Based on the following information, for which candidate would you vote?

Candidate A - drinks four martini's a day, has two mistresses
Candidate B - drinks a bottle of whiskey a day, used opium in college
Candidate C - decorated war hero, vegetarian, doesn't drink alcohol

Presdient Obama and his staff I am sure are intelligent enough to know what the requirements are to hold the Presidential Office of the United States.  I can't imagine anyone on his staff including himself trying to scam the American people of something such as this.

So which candidate above did you choose?

A. Franklin Roosevelt

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

B.  Winston Churchill  

 

 

C.  Adolph Hitler

THE HAVE NOTS

ICE - The Federal agents who Arrest illegal immigrants, usually at their place of employment. 

So just exactly what is the debate really about? 

One side of the argument is this:

• People not born in Amercia who want a better life come into the United States without legal documents to do so.
• They take the jobs that most Americans do not want - so they are not hurting anyone.
• They claim they are not criminals - they are just trying to work to earn a living.

The other side of the argument is :

• They have broken the law in order to come to America to live.
• They usually commit id theft in order to work. They generally buy a SS#  and other bogus documents that can cost anywhere from $60. to $200.
• They may also buy a house with this bogus SS#, which ultimately affects the true owner of the SS#.

Here is the real issue that apparently never makes it into the conversation:

• Laurel, Mississippi - Howard Industries - builds electrical transformers and other big equipment. 
• Population of Laurel about 18,000 - 30 % of the population lives below poverty.
• Illegal Mexicans had gained employment over the past few years at Howard, receiving about $280.00 a week - gross.
• Howard Industries receiveded fines totaling $193,000.00 last year for safety violations.
• Last summer Ice arrested 600 Hispanics at Howard.
• Blacks and whites in Howard state the Illegals will work longer hours and never complain about the safety issues.
• Since the raid - mostly black males now occupy the positions once held by the illegals.

It seems that Corporate Amercia no longer has to take the jobs out of America - to other countries where they can get more bang for their buck.  Instead they have brought the people to the sweatshops.  Who sold them the bogus id's? No one was ever charged for selling them the SS#. 

 You probably haven't given it much thought - that is until you discover on your credit report a $350,000. mortgage for a home you never purchased.

Howard Industries is not alone. Raids on sweatshop workers in Massachusetts, kosher slaughter house employees in Iowa, and federal courthouse janitors in Rhode Island  have produced some of the largest raids of illegal workers.  What about the lawn care folks, the roofers and other traditional blue collar positions.  I use to say we needed to annex the country of Mexico - I think the illegals have already annexed America.

Can you believe that in 2009, we have workers on an assembly line- in America - whether they be black, white or Mexican that make $8.20 an hour?  This is what is missing from the conversation - POVERTY IN AMERICA - Here is the other missing portion of the conversation - mostly because we have had several generations of abundance  that young people do not understand the evolution of Labor Unions and why they came to be.   The HAVES so kindly remind  the HAVE NOTS of their position in society when they raise the gasoline to over $3.00 a gallon and an American thinks he is fortunate to have a job that pays $8.20 an hour and no health insurance.  

Something is really wrong in America!

BUSINESS AS USUAL

Was it business as usual today at the White House?

 

Hardly anything but.  President Barrack Obama will have to do everything 100 times better than any President before him.  He knows this - as do many of us.

   

 President Obama retakes his oath to avoid any nay saying.  Constitution Scholars say however that it was not necessary, that the law states the President legally takes office at 12:00 noon with or without the oath.

President signs an order freezing the salaries of his senior staff members.
